Job Description: Business Development Representative

The Meadows Farmers Market is looking for a motivated and business-minded individual to join our team. We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic about sustainability and supporting our local businesses. The business development rep will be given the opportunity to use their creative sales skills to elevate our project, so we can reach more people in our community for Season 3 from December 2023- April 2024.

Position Summary:

The Business Development Representative's primary duties include but are not limited to:
Help develop a sales business strategy for market growth
Assist sales director in driving sales by calls, emails, etc.
Generate Sales for the project and help spread awareness of the project
Help Community Outreach and Attend Networking Events
Public Relations making face with the community developing business relationships.
Help obtain sponsorships and funding for the project to earn commissions.
Manage and work to improve customer service and review revenue channels
Other communication projects as needed

Job Requirements:
Previous Sales or Communication experience is a must. A related degree is desired.
Being proficient in CRM programs and managing personal sales processes is ideal
Excellent computer knowledge for both MAC and PC environments
Writing and proofing skills required
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and administrative skills
Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified time frames
Organized, dependable and detail-oriented
Team Player
Quick Learner and Efficient
Able to work well under pressure
Self-motivated and driven to obtain results
